The players approach the entry door to The Escape Room, the hacker-inspired escape room set up at Akamai 2020. They see a large single standing room that is wrapped in a sleek code-style skin. The front entryway has a soft red glow that permeates the edges of the door, music thumps dramatically on the inside of the structure. The players are greeted on the outside of the experience by two mysterious looking individuals. They introduce themselves as representatives of the Code Breaker Division,
“Good afternoon, would you and your team care to go on a quest? Excellent! We need help from individuals like you. A top secret government organization has been hacked! Irreplaceable assets and government data is being hacked by bad bots and malware as we speak. We need the help of you, cyber security experts to solve the crisis. Time is of the essence! You and your team must get past the Firewall, enter The Cloud and and escape the room with the Corrupted Hard Drive before time runs out! Are you up for the challenge?”
